For little over a decade the world has been blighted with an unrelenting virus that has proven to be deadly for what appears to be all of mankind.
The lands, once thriving with the hustle and bustle of life are now laid to ruin as nature begins to take back that which was once hers alone.
The towns and cities now overgrown and quiet, that is, save for what lurks in the darkness.
A handful survived the virus' grip on them though with odd mutations, now forever changed, no longer who they once were, no longer...human.
But there is a glimmer of hope for humanity, as small groups of survivors, shielded from the spread, begin to emerge from their safe havens to search for new supplies in an effort to prolong their survival.
Traveling far and wide these groups, one by one, find themselves in the city of Spring Field, a city that seems perfect for settlement, perhaps here they may once again flourish as they did before, that is if they can survive any mutated that may come their way, and each other...
so for now, the city of Spring Field is on LOCKDOWN!
